General Notes: [Ancesters3.FTW] [Strachan121102.ftw] There is a Parliamentary Survey of the Duchy of Cornwall made in 1649, and the entry for the Manor of Gready reads as follows: "William Parker, lat Archdeacon of Cornwall, by indenture of 30 April 1622: Water or corn mill of Cardinham with 2 meadows of 2 acres, and "Suite of Multure." Term: 99 years, on the lives of James Parker, aged 50, son, Kather Parker, aged 44 his wife, and Katherine deceased, their daughter. Fine at the Lord's will. Rent 26s 8d. To plant 2 trees yearly. Lease assigned to James Parker who in turn assigned it to William Henwood."
